Grade Concern

Hello guys. I am really worried about something. I will be a freshman this upcoming fall at Middlebury. Like most seniors, I have undergone senioritis. Below are my grades for my senior year, and I wanted to know if there’s a possiblity that my offer of admission might be rescinded.

Quarter 1:
Gender and Literature: 88
Precalculus: 83
Advanced Physics: 90
AP World History: 85
US Government: 89
Photography: 100

Quarter 2:
Gender and Literature: 90
Precalculus: 81
Advanced Physics: 90
AP World History: 88
US Government: 92
Photography: 96

I applied to Middlebury RD. They received my Quarter 1 and 2 grades. The grades below are the ones they are going to receive upon graduation.

Quarter 3:
Gender and Literature: 90
Precalculus: 89
Advanced Physics: 90
AP World History: 91
Economics: 91
Photography: 93

Quarter 4 (final quarter): These grades are not finalized. The quarter ends June 1.
Gender and Literature: Currenty it’s at a 70
Precalculus: Currently it’s at a 92
Advanced Physics: Currently it’s at a 91
AP World History: Currently it’s at an 80
Economics: Currently it’s at a 100
Photography: Currently it’s at a 95

As you can tell, I am really worried about my Gender and Literature grade. Most of my grades have been on an upward trend. I am working hard to try and improve my grade, but I am worried because my GandL grade dropped 20 points. The reason for this is because I missed like 5 days of schools visiting colleges and it was hard to get back on track. What do you guys think?

The general rule often quoted on CC is to avoid D’s, F’s, and felonies.

You better get that 70 up. If it’s a 69, you could lose it all. My son got a nasty letter threatening rescindment when his grade in BC Calc went to a 78! Talk about ridiculous!
