Berkeley's contract says I must maintain a 3.0 for each term. Does that mean 3.0 in Berkeley's system where there is no such thing as an A- or A+, or does that mean normal system? It would be much easier with the Berkeley system because I might get 2 B-s this quarter...unlikely, but i MIGHT

Bumppppppp

normal system whatever that means

and what do you mean by Berkeley’s no A+/- system?

the UCs count anything in the A range as an A and everything in the B range as a B, etc. (at least, for their application)

At Berkeley itself, A/A+ is 4.0, A- is 3.7, B+ is 3.4, B is 3.0, B- is 2.7, and so on.

Are you an incoming freshmen? If you are then A/A- is the same thing for your high school grades.

Yes i’m an incoming freshman and thanks! so essentially, straight B-s would not get me kicked out, right? (don’t worry, not planning on getting straight B-s, just checking if this is true)

Straight B-'s is a 3.0 so you’re good.
