Grade Deflation at LACs?

<p>I am likely planning on majoring on either physics or mathematics. Out of these schools which has the most fair grading (least deflation) in their sciences departments?:</p>

<p>Carleton College
Claremont Mckenna College
Davidson College
Hamilton College
Colgate University</p>

<p>I've heard that both Colgate and Davidson are notorious for grade deflation...</p>

<p>I’ve actually heard that LACs have less grade deflation. Everyone has told me “if you want to go to a good grad school, go to a LAC”. Public universities, especially UCLA and Berkeley are infamous for grade deflation. Most Ivies have grade inflation.</p>
