Uhh, no I'm an upcoming freshman.

Leave him alone, mr. chipset. He's obviously still stuck in his own little world and is beyond all hope of saving.

You can know who I am by a few posts? That's a very reassuring thought of who I am. You need to stop making more conjectures.

Good luck Masterus, you will really need some luck with your attitude.

No, I can tell what your personality is like by your stuck-up attitude. No wonder, you're an upcoming freshman.

AP Weight Training would be a hot course. A kid in my school bench presses 240 and squats 300, he'd get a 5 :)

haha. i can only bench 185, but i squat 365, would i still get a 5?

and masterus,
you have a horrible attitude for a freshman. ok, maybe what i have said in my lasts posts about no body liking you is only based on bias opinion, but you still talk crap to chipset and other people when they just try to open your eyes. another thing about it not being honors orchestra. having orchestra on your schedule gives a big boost to your ec's, it shows that not only did you spend your time away from school studying music, but you also did in school. it shows you have passion for something. i say you still take it all four years, even if you might not get val. because you had orchestra on your schedule, it will look better to harvard than the val. who just had AP courses and no ec's or passions. i was in the same boat, i wanted to take AP Comp Sci AB next year as my elective, so i would have 4 APs soph year and be really far ahead, but that would mean i would have to quit debate, which i love debate and i have to take as a class in order to participate in national tournaments. even though junior-senior year, i got an extra grade point for it, i could have gotten an extra grade point this year in comp sci, but i didn't, because i have a passion for debate, i love it, and it shows my passion for debate by taking it as a class.

its so funny how freshies try to act like theyre 18. using high vocabulary that is never in anyone's daily context is just a way to raise their self esteem and their egotism. to me its sad but w/e the little freshie can just be a conceited lil snob

It's also really funny how I'm probally going to be more sucessful than you in life.

I'm most likely to get Valecdictorian. Too bad you don't know anyone from my school. I am also in a Solisti group which is out of school for talented solo/chamber students. Read my earlier posts; I always have to say this. riverrider, wow, my answer to your responce was answered 3-4 hours before you even posted. Ignorance is bliss.

No, I don't have an attitude. You just don't like being wrong. I'm prving you wrong and in your way of perceiving it; you take it as I have a bad attitude.

Also what you don't understand fully is, there isn't a right or wrong. You don't know me to know I have a bad attitude. You can't know someone from a couple of posts. What, because I post once you know everything about me. A forum isn't like that.

Read the first post. I'm asking if it hurts your GPA, nothing else. Stop Assuming things. GPA has nothing to do with my attitude, in other words it is spam. Please refrain.

Riverrider, I probally have more EC's than your 2 years in high school which is really sad. I have already been in state-wde competitions, Eagle Scouts, etc. Far better than what you have.

[/quote]
Wov! You do squat pretty much, what's your 40' dash? By the way, the wrestling season's coming!

Let's just ignore Masterus guys, he doesn't know what is high school and what is life and doesn't want to learn so leave him alone. Education comes with humiliation.

is health and PE a graduation requirement at your school?

I like how you think your already gonna be val. at your school when you haven't even started freshman year.

I like how you think you don't have an attitude, yet you try to bring people down by telling them that you are better than them. that is an attitude.

And no you don't have more EC's than me. I guarantee that. And, its not the quantity its the quality of EC's. I have not only been in statewide competitions, i have been in nation wide competitions. i've competed against other schools from across the united states. i finished in 5th place out of over 80+ other teams. this was a "second year" competition, meant for people in their second year of debate, and me and my partner were first years. this all took place at stanford too. i have debated in many other tournaments also, and I am attending the most prestigious sophomore debate camp in the nation starting next week. this was all just for my debate passion.

i am also part of the public relations club, an elect group selected by the principal himself of well-respected young men give tours to incoming frosh, etc. to show off the school.

i also played football and threw shotput and discus in track. During the spring season, i practiced more than 5 hours every day for these two sports.

i will run for student councel next year.

i already have over 40 hours serving at a mission in tijuana, giving up my saturdays to go down and do manual labor helping to build a chuch and classrooms.

i have over 100 hours serving at a community center for underpriveleged children.

i am also at the top of my class, and i will have the most APs next year along with two classes at community college.

and i enjoy doing all of the things. i put most of my time into debate, which like i said it's the quality of ec's and how much effort you put into them, more than just having a bunch of them.

so wait until your sophomore year to post on this site, because you DO have an attitude and it is apparent in your posts and how you bash on other people.

wow conceited, egotistic, self-absorbed. quit bragging cuz no one gives a crap ok? so what if u have more success than people? ur just putting others down with ur good e/c's and all that. who cares. its people like u who i despise. and wat riverrider said, ur attitude is reflected by ur posts. so quit trying to put urself at the top of the world and get a freaking life. people here at CC r nice people and they know who to give respect to.

riverrider:
dont sink to his level

o and answer to ur question, chill about the honors thing. u dont need an ''honors'' label to all ur classes so that u get like a 5.0 in ur first year. since ur a freshie colleges wont really consider ur freshman year unless u get like a 2.0 or something

yeah i shouldn't sink to his level it just made me really mad when he said that he had more ec's than me when he hasn't even started high school and how he thinks he's gonna be val. but i shouldn't really care, because people like chipset and I will be more successful in life because we don't have attitudes.

My Honors Algebra 1, Honors Geometry, Honors Latin 1 and Honors Spanish 3 are already my GPA which is 5.0(Highest for our school). I spent 4 periods at the High School. Then I went back to the middle school for everything else. I've already entered High School.

Attitudes don't determine everything. That's like saying I can seduce everyone into what I want because seducing is being extra nice in a way. You think just with your attitude you'll become world famous? I highly doubt it. Colleges still look at your freshman year to see how well you fared.

My EC's are simply, in other words, influential. The number isn't the truthsayer, it's what the EC's are.

Oh, and read what you're saying that's also an attitude. You're not differing from me are you? Telling what some is, stoops you down, it is biased and prejudice. Grades aren't speed bump in my High School Career, it's time management for my EC's/Community Service.

I think I need to clear up some stuff from yesterday.

No one here likes you, and for good reason! Youre the least humble member Ive ever seen on CC and you havent even had a genuine high school experience yet. You have no right to think of yourself in the manner you do now. Look at me, Im so influential! Attitude is critical to success. A nasty attitude will make fellow students dislike you, just like how youve done on CC already, and as you should know, being likable is quite an important factor. The right attitude must be applied in order to do well. Youre also thinking of your ECs and community service only as your ticket to college. You forget the one thing colleges most look for: Passion. Middle and elementary school cant even compare to high school, and yet heres a thirteen year old kid here who already thinks that his accomplishments will be better than anyone elses.

Youve even stated that your honors classes are a desideratum. Silly little braggart. Well guess what, youre not that special. If you hung around in other places on CC other than High School Life, honors classes arent all that uncommon! I myself was in all the highest possible honors classes a freshman could take. So shut up, because you dont have anything to brag about.

You think youre such hot stuff because you use vocab words to criticize people. Its pretty obvious that youre insecure, because you seem to be trying to intimidate people with your words. I notice that when you use this vocabulary some words are too strong or weak to fit the context, a sure-fire way that signifies that you probably dont use them as much as you claim you do. And guess what, you seem to have forgotten that youre chatting on a forum, and the whole point of a forum is COMMUNICATION. We do know what words mean, but we dont use them every day because its completely unnecessary to do so, the main idea is to convey opinions and ideas very quickly. Theres no need to talk like that, even if someone has an extensive vocabulary. Not only do you sound pathetic when you use your little library of complex words, it just shows how vulnerable and insecure you really are.

You take all your constructive criticism personally. I was trying to help when I said that the way you used your words wasnt going to help in application essays. When people say something about you that you dont want to hear, youll take it very offensively. The narrow-mindedness you display is unbelievable. A person who truly will succeed is one that will consider the opinions of others. Havent you ever considered that perhaps you are wrong and others are right?

You should like a little boy whose parents praised and pampered their little darling way too much. Dont worry; hopefully youll be whipped into shape in the next four years. I wish you best of luck in popping that overinflated ego of yours.

Dude, Masterus, eff off.
