You see, there are obviously guys better than you. You're bragging about your poor three honors and there are people who're taking three APs as freshman! And they don't brag about it because, well, they got APs and they're happy. Your naive attempts to calculate "rigour" of your schedule is nothing but attempts to prove yourself that you are actually worth something.
As to ECs, darn, you don't have any ECs because colleges don't even count what you did before high school! Please don't say to River that you have more ECs than he does because it sounds pathetically laughable.

lol I have 13 Honors Classes taken by the end of freshman.

I've taken 3 honors classes at High school in 8th grade and 7 more in my freshman year. Plus in 7th grade I took Spanish 2 honors and Algebra 1 Honors. Plus Solisti which is Honors credit Total sum of Freshman year credits? 14.5 Credits(Not including Summer School Class Credit)

I could technically graduate in my Sophmore year.

Rarely a person takes even APs in thier freshman year because when i said 5 APs you guys were all like that's impossible. I'm thinking APs in Freshman year would prove even more impossible for you guys.

Eagle Scouts?
Leadership awards from Eagle Scouts?
Community service from this summer?
I have a few tennis tournaments this summer.

You say that I'm proving myself as worthy. Then I'm worthier than you since I know your schedule is off the charts combined to my planned one.

Masterus, you forget one thing. I've met people who have completed several AP classes their freshman year, 11 by the time they graduate.

(My friend Brenda's schedule!: http://www.frhsd.com/mambo/frhsd_uploads/programs/lc-science.pdf)

I even know some that did math over several summers and completed AP Calc by the time they were freshmen and sophomores.

But they are down to earth kids. Nice. Friendly. Sociable. They know they're smart but they don't have the excessive pride that you do. Masterus, you are probably also quite intelligent (although not on their level) but your attitude and closemindedness is revolting.

Masterus...

You aren't special... thousands upon thousands of kids take more honors/APs (including myself) than you in there Freshman year (or carry more credit from middle school).

Your so-called "ECs" aren't extraordinary... I hope you have something else planned for Freshman year because it's looking grim.

You definitely came to the wrong forum if you think you are the only one who has achieved "academic excellence".

Trust me, 5 APs is not limit. You seen that one guy walkin' around here with 31 APs? He took prerequisites in Middle school and on-line and all of his 9th grade is straight AP.
However, even he does not have that attitude that you have.

when colleges see that someone has like 31 AP's theyre gonna think u have no life

Wow. that sounds like it came from a book

pathetic how your school weights classes like honors alg. 1 and honors latin 1.
first year classes should not be honors or weighted as honors. you also have to know that harvard will recalculate your gpa and drop the honors weight of your latin, algebra, etc. classes that you count as weighted.

if my gpa was weighted from freshman year based on honors, i would have had a 4.43 for the year.

Honors for Latin is because it's accelerated, Anyone can take it, but you had to sign a contract with the teacher. It doesn't even matter if it's weighted or not. I have too many honors classes for it to decrease it substantially.

How can I have no life when I am going to do EC's and play in many tennis tournaments/Violin All-State/Regional. You have to practice to do these things well. He is one in how many people in the world? I'll have 24 APs by end of High School considering I didn't take any classes in freshman year.

One AP Doesn't make a difference overall when I'm going to take 8 APs every year.

Surge what was your freshman schedule then?

What even more interesting about me is I'm quint-lingual. Chinese,English, Latin, Spanish and French.

It finally stopped raining outside :)

Where I live, it's really sunny today. Temperature in the 100s.

so masterus,
if your fluent in french, like you say....
Vous pensez que vous etes intelligent, pourtant vous etes vraiment stupide. Nous vous detestons. Conge maintenant! Merci! Desole, je ne peux pas dactylographier des accents.

maybe you'll understand it that way. and don't use a translator!

couldnt've said it better

Is quintlingual a word?

I thought it was pentalingual.

Oh, I thought Quint because most numerical counting of items are followed in the Latin way of numbers. Duo,Tri, Quad and Quint is next I think.

And riverrider, I'll be far surperior than you in every way, you can't accept the fact I'm better. Such shame is bestowed upon you.

most people say multi-lingual after tri. and stop staying stuff like:

Such shame is bestowed upon you.

No one says that in real life......

And you don't know you'll be superior, you havent even started your freshman year. And you have absolutely no street-smarts.

no you won't be far superior. people don't like you. and since no one likes you, you won't go far at all.
