Grade Drop Affecting my Chances?

My biggest "reach"/"high match" school that I'm applying to is UC Berkeley. UC Berkeley won't see my Senior year transcript or any transcript until June because of their policies on sending transcripts. But nonetheless, especially in regards for other schools:

I had a 3.98 GPA (unweighted) maintained since Freshman year to Junior year. But in Senior year, that dropped to a 3.96 unweighted. Will that result in a revocation of my admission if I do get accepted and if colleges (Berkeley or otherwise, around Berkeley level schools) see that before admissions decisions, will that greatly affect my chances?

My ACT score is a 35
740 and 770 on Chem and Math II subject tests respectively
Moderate level of EC's

Did you really mean to say that your GPA dropped from 3.98 to 3.96? Those GPAs are pretty much the same.

OMG. A drop in grades that will get you rescinded is getting a D or an F. Going from 3.98 to 3.96 is not a downward trend.

I’ve heard rumors that getting lower grades than that which you have been getting for the rest of your High School career results in reconsideration or a lower chance. That’s why I asked.

Lower means significantly lower, like a drop of a full point or a D or an F.

You have nothing to worry about.

Yes, dropping 0.02 grade points will defintely keep you out of UCB, enjoy Stanford.
