Grade Foregiveness?

I took a course at another school and failed it. Now I am at a new school and they offer this course would it be possible for me to take it here and have the grade some how erased?

I failed JC calculus, took it again and passed, and they erased the grade from my GPA. I then took the equivalent course again at University, and its part of my University GPA, but the JC course doesn't count.

All in all, the failure shows on my JC transcript, but not on my University, and its no longer a part of my GPA.

Wait...so you're saying that if you take courses in junior college/community college, and do poorly, and then you re-take them at University, they don't show up on your University transcript?

a grade from a different school usually does not show up on your current school's transcript. only the fact that you passed the class, and the credit, if the credit transfers.

gemstar,

thats not entirely true; however, most schools will not transfer anything under a C or a C-, so you should be okay, assuming you get in with the failed class (i.e., didn't hurt your entering GPA)
