<p>Does anyone know how college admins view grade forgiveness when they look at your transcript? Will it really hurt your chances or will they brush it off? I'm asking because I took pre calc in my freshmen year in a semester as part of this engineering program and ended up earning an F, but after I retook it in tenth grade I earned an A and only the A is averaged in to my GPA, but the F still shows on the transcript. How much will that hurt me? It'd be for upper-end competitive colleges.</p>
