<p>@Philovitist: That depends on test design. Test’s should be (and most upper level ones are) designed to assess problem solving and thinking capacity over rote memorization. How exactly is one supposed to “perform” problem solving? It’s not possible. “Performing” only works on tests based upon memorization.</p>
<p>No matter how much you memorize, you cannot fake knowing Physics. No matter how much one reads, one cannot game a Math test (if it is well written). These subjects test application, and so, the grades accurately measure thinking ability and true understanding. And that is what final grades should be based off of.</p>
<p>But logicx, some things are more important than rigidly ensuring that final grades reflect performance on tests.</p>
<p>I think we must be in the same system cuz ur from bethesda and i live in potomac(no i’m not rich). But yea I did it a lot last year but ever since i started getting into college my motivation for school and grades in general went down.</p>
