Is there grade inflation/deflation or curving in the science courses at Gtown? I hope its not cutthroate competition or such...

Georgetown doesn't really have grade inflation, but it's not too hard to do well. Grades are curved a little depending on what the teacher's policies are. Grades are looked at in context though, so just do well for the program you're in and it won't matter as much what the actual grade is.
Most people really aren't competitive about grades and are actually helpful instead. That's one of the things I really liked about gtown and made me choose it instead of a place like Johns Hopkins which is kind of cutthroat. People are supportive of eachother and want others to do well especially since curves aren't determined by how others do in the class.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Are there certain classes that are impossible to do well in? Basically, I'm afraid of going to a school where EVERYONE is super-well-qualified and fail.
