Hey everyone, I've finished applying as a potential Galltin student at NYU and now I have a question to current students. Can anyone comment on what the grading is like at NYU? Does it seem like there's inflation, deflation, or just earned grading (keep in mind, I'm not worried about the Stern curve)? Is it possible or even probable to achieve a GPA in the 3.8-4.0 range if a student is willing to put in the work?

Other than Stern which is notorious for its curve, I think it is for sure possible to get 3.8~4.0 GPA at NYU. I mean I'm sure even at Stern there is a handful of people every year who graduate with 3.8 GPA

Yay, that is exactly what I like to hear! I'm hoping to go into law and you can see where a high GPA would be a serious asset.

BUMP. i'm planning on going premed and am also hoping for good inflation! =)
