Grade inflation in course?

i got an A+ in AP Chem but a 4 in the AP exam, and I got an A in APUSH but got a 4 on the exam. what would top colleges think of that? would you considers those grades and AP scores matching?

The A in APUSH and a 4 on the exam is fine. The A+ and a 4, however, is a little sketchy. In my school you need a 97.5%+ to get an A+ in a class, which is near impossible in any rigorous class in my school especially since tests are weighed 60% of the overall grade in most of those classes.

Eh, it really depends on the high school you go to. I think you’re fine really. In fact, in my small-town redneck high school, where grade inflation is rampant, kids get A’s and fail or don’t even take the APUSH test all the time.
