Grade inflation

<p>Interesting article: makes me feel better, me, my B average from a very competitive school and my 1450 SAT . Adm.rep must be aware of all the schools in their region. hey should know which school send the best candidates, don't they?</p>

<p>He's only taking 3 APs at a school with an average SAT score of 1170? Above average, but that's hardly "highly competitive." I kind of lost sympathy for him after the private tutor part. :rolleyes:</p>

They are familiar with feeder schools, but plenty of schools can produce an awesome applicant every now and then. They won't be familiar with every high school, nor should they be expected to be.</p>
