  1. Don't use Princeton Review -- use official SAT essay prompts.
  2. Don't skip lines between paragraphs. It's distracting and wastes precious space.
  3. The essay is good. You follow the formula. It would score anywhere from 10-12. I would challenge you to include not just historical topics. Throw in a current event or a book. Your Franklin paragraph is a little vague. You basically just say that Franklin took over his brother's business, looked at the past and the failures, and problem solved. Say what those failures were and how Franklin solved them.
