Grade my SAT Essay please!

I would really appreciate if a few people could read over my timed practice essay I just wrote and score it what you think I would receive. Any feedback/advice would also be appreciated! It's only my second time writing an SAT essay and I kinda suck at writing fast so no rude comments please haha. Also, I know I should usually use at least one direct reference but I couldn't think of any on the spot for this subject so I just did my best without. Thank you in advance!...

[TOPIC: There is, of course, no legitimate branch of science that enables us to predict the future accurately. Yet, the degree of change in the world is so overwhelming and so promising that the future, I believe, is far brighter than anyone has contemplated since the end of WWII. Is the world changing for the better?]

"The world we live in is constantly changing and, like everything, everyone has different views on it. Many scientists believe that our natural resources will quickly run out and havoc will erupt, while others think that the world is changing for the better. Although drastically different, both sides make valid arguments.

On one side of the scientific spectrum are those that say we are quickly burning through our finite resources and when we run out, war will begin. Many also say that our continuously growing population will soon lead to the scarcity of clean water, even in fully developed nations (such as the US). As human population increases, more and and more green house gases are being released which is causing the ozone layer to deplete. This is an extremely important layer of the Earth which protects us from the sun's harsh rays that, once depleted, cannot be replenished. If this happens, we will all be at extreme risk of skin cancer. There are many aspects of this world's changing environment that many believe will be a major issue sooner than we like to believe.

On the other side of the spectrum are those that believe the future holds promising new ways. Since we've been on this earth, humans have accomplished so many amazing things through discovery, experimentation, and experience. This leads many to believe that the future holds continuous advancements in all areas of life. Many scientists state that they have complete confidence that the Earth can handle almost anything we throw it's way and that the technological advancements we make in the future will make up for any other damages.

Mother Earth is a beautiful thing that everyone views differently. While some view it as something sacred we need to protect others think it is here for our use. Where do you see us in 100 years?"
