So I’m planning on applying to Uchicago, Northwestern, Columbia, Georgetown, Washu, Cornell and then some safety colleges in my home state. But the thing is, I have gotten two B’s. One second semester pre AP physical science my freshman year, and then one first semester Precal my junior year which is this year (that one was an 89.4 ). I will have taken 11 AP classes and even more honors classes by the time I graduate so it’s not like I am taking an easy course load. But anyways, do colleges like I am applying to even consider people who have gotten B’s? I don’t want to work super hard on my applications if those two b’s are going to exclude me.
One B is in your freshman year - I don’t think they care much about what you did in your freshman year. The other is is in the 1st semester of a course so you showed improvement and brought your grade up (which they like to see). I don’t think these are going to keep you out with a strong application otherwise. (Of course, nothing can guarantee you’ll get in either)
