So my high school won’t let me drop my Trig class and I’m currently making a D- in it ( a C- for one term a D in the other and subsequently a D- for the semester grade). I’m trying really hard to bring it up but I’m kind of freaking out. I did better in precalc (C- for the semester) and was admitted with that grade on my transcript. I know enough math to figure that I will do relatively well on the placement test. My dilemma is about the final transcript. I’m majoring in social work, not a heavy math field and my teacher who went to Miami says that the final transcript is mainly to confirm you graduated and as long as I don’t get a F I should be fine. My question is basically how badly will this effect me? Do you think they would withdraw my admission? Should I call office of admissions and ask?
I have outstanding grades in all other classes, As and high Bs.
I contacted my AO about this, because I was in the same situation. She didn’t care.
