Grade Scales

no, but somewhat near it (im not the type to give out personal info). besides, im tuned into my on studies and my own city.

.-_-.

"that makes no sense...if you get 100 it still is an A even when an A is 95-97?"

I know, it's annoying. Like last year, the lowest grade I got in my history was a 98...

Regular Level...... Honors/AP/IB
A+ 99-100 4.5..... " " 5.5
A 94-98 4.0..... 5.0
B+ 90-93 3.5..... 4.5
B 84-90 3.0..... 4.0
C ???? I dont know i've never gotten lower than a B+

The only grades that go in increments of one are the ones in the nineties.
90 - 100 = A
80, 85, 88 = B
70, 75, 78 = C
65 = D, Barely Passing
Anything lower = Fail
35 = Not a fail, but a redo (meaning you NEVER showed up for class)

Those are the only grades you see.

OH, and we get SIX EFFIN REPORT CARDS A YEAR

A: 89.5+
B: 79.5 - 89.5
C: 69.5 - 79.5
D: 59.5 - 69.5
F: below 59.5

^ Thats awesome. :)

A: 93%-100%
A-: 90%-92%

B+: 88%-89%
B: 82%-87%
B-:80%-81%

Cs: same principle

60%-70%: I, or incomplete, means not doing assignments and is not failing but allows to finish work next semester (block schedule), pass exam and get C.

94-100 A
86-93 B
78-85 C
70-77 D
below 69 E

Stupid Virginia...I used to live in TX where we had a 10 pt scale. Talk about easy!

we get 8 report cards a year.....at the quarters and midquarters.

wooah, weird! we get 4 report cards, but 'progress reports' in between, kind of intermittently

yeah, here some teachers give you progress reports for their class only at the end of units.
