Perspective 2 thoughts on increasing presence of intelligent machines provides insight that machines are great at jobs and more progress for society. However it fails to consider that there would be less jobs for humans needed. It persuades because machines are more efficient since thats they’re purpose and programmed to be.
Perspective 3 provides insight that machines provides challenges for us as a society and the possibilities that wouldn’t have been thought of. however it fails to consider that humans are not machines and never can be. Humans cannot be programmed or made like machines so a person cannot learn about himself or herself through one.
Machines do not always provide better support and or get the job done better than humans can and can make everyday tasks difficult. As people get older technology becomes more complicated than the previous technology. In self check out lines the process of scanning your own item simple as an apple can be confusing and more time consuming than a cashier scanning it. Older people and younger people that are not familiar with new technology and machines leads to more mistakes and issues. However self check out lines may be more accurate with prices with items than a cashier. Machines can make life complicated if a person isn’t aware of how to operate like a elder man or woman.
