Okay, so my grades since my acceptance at Penn haven’t been so great. Senioritis is partially to blame, they all started slipping a bit before my decision came out, but it’s mostly because I’ve spent all my time since December 10 working on scholarship apps, not homework. I got practically no financial aid, without them having seen the Fafsa yet.

First quarter was fine. I had 3 A’s, 1 A- and one B+. Now, they are mostly all B+ except for AP Calc AB which is steadily turning from a B+ to a C+.
I just took the midterm and I really don’t think it went well.
Is Penn gonna send me a letter about this? What if I get it up to a B minus?

I know that Wharton has a heavy math emphasis so that might make this even more problematic. I DO intend to repeat the class.
I think I might even be able to negotiate some leeway with my math teacher if I were to explain my situation, I just need to know what the danger zone IS.

try to keep everything above a c, then you should be fine. maybe you should call penn and ask if you can drop calcab considering you do not get any credit for it.

hey guys, if my weighted average is above an 89% (unweight.), but i have say one C, will it matter? (i have some nice excuses - like never being in school because of ECs and some fam stuff).....i actually have a 92% unweighted right now, which is above my high school avg. lol, but that may drop......

one more thing....are FINAL grades all that matter or does each MP matter a lot too?....l(i had a 96ish in calc 1st MP but have a low B right now....if i get a C or something in a MP but get a B+ for the year, they wont care, right?)

Hey I was deferred Ed from Penn, I am sure that I am going to have all A's in my 5 AP classes, but I was wondering what else could I do to improve my Rd chances?
