I was accepted ED I and I'm just wondering what GW's policy is on grades after a student has already been accepted admission.. Do they ask for mid-year or just the end of the year reports?
As long as you're not failing, then it doesn't REALLY matter right?

they ask for your mid and final year reports…and there are forms on the website where u can print them out and have them filled out by ur counselor…however, with that said, all u have to do is pass senior year and graduate…they arent going to revoke their offer to u bc a drop in grades…JUST PASS

has GW had any history of rescinding admission?

Yeah I’d like to know also…not that I wouldn’t keep my grades up just in case because I know you do have to send a Mid-year report but I just don’t wanna be nervous about it lol

no…ive NEVER heard of anyone getting rescinded… so like i said…jus past ur classes and graduate…im serious, do not freak out if u get c’s…or even d’s…jus pass…trust me…enjoy the rest of ur senior year and DONT FREAK OUT ABOUT YOUR GRADES

Hey i just got accepted to. I think your main concern is not if gwu will rescind your admission but if your school notifies GW about your slacking off and how you might not deserve it.

not deserve it??

What I’m trying to say is basically they could notify the college your slacking off.

Can they really rescind our admission esp. b/c we applied ED and we are withdrawing all of our other apps?

ok everyone needs to just chilll out…nobody is gunna call gw and say ur “slacking off” or u dont “deserve it”…thats jus absurd…seriously if u guys were accepted to gw…u will be at gw next fall unless u for some wierd strage reason do not graduate high school this year…so stop freaking out

hahah i dunno pat i’m sure they have some type of history with revoking acceptances… i’m worried as well hahah like all b’s and c’s this semester after having all a’s in highschool and i got accepted ed. i’m accepted and still stressing… ***?

I am going to get a D in a science class, as well as a C in a math class. I’ve had a rough year (parents separated in the summer, death in the family in September.) Plus my science class had a substitute for the first six weeks of school, and only six people in my class passed the first quarter. It’s my last semester, as I’m graduating mid-year. Do I need to be worried about losing my admission offer?

unless you straight up flunk more than one class or get like straight Ds, I am sure you will be fine. I’ve never heard of someone getting their admission rescinded because of grades. However, GW HAS and WILL rescind your admission if you get caught drinking at CI (orientation)…so don’t do that, haha.
