Grades are slipping....

These are my grades:
- Study Hall ............. 100
- Honors Algebra II ... 90
- Honors English II .... 90
- Honors Chemistry ... 89
- French II ............... 100
- AP World History .... 99
- Honors Art III ........ 97

I'm freaking out over my grades in Algebra II, English, and Chemistry. My low grades in Alg II and Chemistry are all my fault. I didn't understand the concepts, and thus performed poorly on the quizzes and tests. However, I feel that my low grade in English is my teacher's fault. Last week, I took a test over a Greek tragedy. For WEEKS she specifically stated that the test would only cover the first portion of the text. So, that's all I studied. Turns out, the test covered the ENTIRE story. I ended up getting an 82. That dropped my grade 8 freaking points. I had a conference with her late last week, but she refused to reason with me. I also feel that she's inept as a teacher. All she does during class is talk about her son and how women are being misrepresented in the media.

This post really has no point. It's just a small rant to keep me sane. This week I have a test in all 3 subjects, and a quiz in English and Chemistry. I really hope I ace all of them..... Any tips on how to raise my grade in the last week of the grading period? Any moral support??? haha

Your grades are fine…

I would cry tears of rainbows to have your grades in Algebra and Chemistry…

All you need to do is to score a 90 or above on all of your quizzes/tests this week. That’s it. :D

cool story bro

study hall…

Stop ****ing crying, you’re grades are top notch. If you’re crying over an 89, it’s just one god damn percent away from an A. -_____-

Gawsh I don’t like it when people do this…YOU’RE FINE.

typical CCer being all eeeeeh my grade fell below perfect waaa waaa lol

Advice: stop being so fixated on your damn grades. There’s got to be more important things in your life

then study more next time and understand the concepts. What more do you need us to say?

now that you know she lies, study the whole book instead.

I’m getting a C+ in AP English. Half of the class is failing. I was 4.0 uw up to this point, so it’s been humbling to say the least.

You’re lucky, bro.

i had the same problem as you in my freshman year…
all my grades were 96+ (p.e. was 93 lol) and math + eng were 92…
bad teachers in both classes. But you’re fine, just push yourself harder.

Get over yourself. I know people including myself with F’s, D’s, and C’s. We don’t want to hear about you and your horrible grades.

(Sorry, I don’t mean to be that mean. I’m in a bad mood about grades since a recently failed test.)

Haha 100 in study hall? Oh, how I wish that was factored into GPAs at my school.
But seriously, an 89 in honors chem is awesome. I don’t know how the difficulty compares elsewhere, but people at my school are scared to death of even going near that class.

Everyone doesn’t need to be mean. People stress about different things. But really it’ll be okay dude. You have plenty of time to get the grades up

Damn ccers are being so jealous… Don’t worry, I stress when my grades are borderline as well. The semester just started so you’ll have tons of time to catch up. My first tests are usually horrible, but I manage to bring my grades up (knock on wood).

Good thing my school only counts the third marking period of each semester in our actual transcript. So we can basically screw up first 2, and get 100’s on third.

I have a 80 in chemistry, and a 91 in english… Hoping for a 95 in chemistry by third though.

I have an 89 in Trig right now :frowning:
93 is our cutoff for A’s, too…

How’d you manage such a high grade in AP StudH? I barely got an A

I absolutely hate borderlining grades! I feel you bro
Omg! All my grades are borderlining, I’m worries cause once you the finals are around the corner, you need to rely on it! It’s crazy… I get too tired trying to keep up w/ my grades! I want at least 93% in each class by the end of the 2nd triad. So I can be in the “safe” zone!
