I’m extremely scared colleges will think my grades are dipping because somehow, magically, last year I got straight A+s. But this year I have about 50/50 A+s and As… it’s only first term, which is unfortunately always my worst term, and I’m applying early to Harvard, so I’m just worried they’ll count that as a downward trend! Honestly, my first term grades last year were even worse than they are right now, they just somehow averaged out to A+s… Grades close in two weeks so I can’t do much about first term, but maybe for second term I could slave away for straight A+s, which I really don’t want to do, but I just don’t know if that’s what colleges are expecting!! Basically, I peaked junior year, and I want to know if I’m expected to maintain those perfect grades this year… however, I am taking one more AP class compared to last year, if that makes a difference
No you’re fine.
Good luck for Harvard.
…I think you’ll be okay.
I think try view an A+ and an A the same. Some teachers won’t even give students the chance to get an A+.
