I am a student from the UK just about to begin my A level studies in drama, english literature, philosophy and chemistry. I am currently interested in applying for Brown or other similar US collages.
I assume I would have to sit the SAT verbal reasoning exam and the SATs in two other subjects (english literature and chemistry), what marks would i have to gain in these for acceptance to Brown to be even remotely feasible?

I would aim for over 700 on all standardized tests. There are many resources on this website for international students, and I recommend that you check these out. The most important hurdle you’ll first have to tackle is financial. Can your family afford to pay Brown’s cost of attendance? Or do you need financial aid?

Here are statistics provided by Brown for the Class of 2017 that are responsive to OP’s inquiry:

In addition to great test scores, Brown students are expected to undertake significant extracurriculars that earn them widely respected achievement. As an international student from Britain, you’ll have to clear an even higher bar. Further, Brown is need-aware for international students, so I hope you don’t need aid to attend.

Are you allowed to take the SAT Math II? That one is an easy 800 for most foreign students.
