Hi, does Columbia take into account my grades from my freshman year or will she focus on the grades 10,11 and 12? I have heard some schools skip the 9th grade records and if Columbia did so too, that would have helped me a lot. Thanks

^i think columbia looks at 9-12, but i’m sure they’ll give less weightage to freshman grades, maybe even sophomore grades, junior grades would be the most important, since they are most recent.

wait, wait, wait. Does Columbia re-calculate our GPAs?

They told me that they don’t.

Since when is Columbia a chick? lol

I’ve heard of boats and cars as “she”, but schools? lol

It’s actually ok to refer to some schools as she, it’s just not common, especially not in American English.
Read The Penguin History of the World by John Roberts and you will be amazed by seeing how many things can be referred to as “she”.

No.

Maybe it was a reference to Jessica M.

it wouldn’t exactly be fair to people who worked hard freshman year, however.
