Grades/Grading at BC?

I was just accepted at BC, and i would like to know how grades are determined. I know that an A is a 4.0, an A- is a 3.7 etc, but i would like to know what a typical cutoff for grades are. For example, at my previous institution an A was a 94 and above.

Could anyone help me out? Thanks!

completely depends on the professor. some will have an A be a 93 and above, some a 94. an A- is generally a 90 and above though. some professors will scale grades depending on the class average as well. i remember my calc 1 class was an 88 for an A-. also an A- is a 3.67
