<p>I think that the whole thread can be filed away based on MIT Chris’ statement that “No one on this forum, not even me, can give you a meaningful chance at MIT.”</p>
<p>Grade systems vary so much from country to country, from district to district and even from school to school. I have seen schools where a huge number of students graduate with a straight A average, and others where they have never yet had a student who has managed this feat. </p>
<p>Any question of the form “I got at B in Physics, what does this mean to my application” is meaningless. If everyone in the class got an A except for you, then its probably a fairly bad thing. If there was only 1 A given in a class of 250, and you didn’t get it, then it does not mean that much. Nobody knows.</p>
