To anyone who was accepted to San Diego State University can you comment your GPA and SAT/ ACT Test scores. I will be applying this upcoming semester and would like information.
I was accepted as a freshman for fall 2015 (didn’t go) and this year as a transfer for fall 2016. My ACT was 31 and SAT was 1980
Wow! You had excellent scores! How did you manage those scores?
SDSU like all CSU’s (except SLO) accept applicants based on CSU GPA and test scores. You calculate your CSU/UC GPA, plug in your tests score into the Eligibility index calculation and get your EI.
Applicants are ranked based on EI and major. Average CSU GPA last year was a 3.82 with an average SAT (Math +CR) of 1120 and ACT of 25. 2016 admission stats have to been released but assume at or above the 2015 averages.
Competitive EI’s are around a 4100+ SAT and 1000+ ACT. Local SD applicants are given priority and their EI’s could be as low as 3900+/900+.

SDSU is the 2nd most competitive CSU behind SLO and 2nd in the # of CSU applications.
