<p>UCSD does not have a bizecon program. They do have an excellent economics program which is on par with UCLA's. (or so I've heard)</p>
<p>Also consider UC Irvine's BizEcon program. After all, it is in a prime location with plenty of business internship prospects. </p>
<p>If you don't have TAP you have a very slim chance. </p>
<p>Biz econ is one of the most impacted majors at UCLA. The average admit GPA last year was 3.82 with an admit rate of only 17.8%!! There has been an increasing level of competitiveness every year so expect it to be even harder to get into next year, especially with the rumored budget cuts. TAP increases your chances dramatically. Sure you'll hear about 3.4's getting in, but believe me, they are definitely the exceptions. They are also Tapped for sure.</p>
<p>If you wish to attend UCLA i'd suggest changing your major or TAPPIN. :/</p>
