If I'm planning on applying to law schools next fall, it will be the fall of my senior year of undergrad. Obviously at that point, ill only have my grades through spring quarter of my junior year.

When do law schools usually review applications submitted in October/November?

If I sent in an updated transcript in late December, would they consider that in calculating my GPA?

Thank you!

It depends on the school, but most will review it relatively soon. (I received my acceptance exactly 2 days after I submitted my app in early November) Lots of decisions are handed out before first semester, senior grades are in. As long as a decision hasn’t been made yet, then your GPA update will definitely be considered.

Do more selective schools take longer to respond than less selective ones or does it not matter? I know in another thread you mentioned you were admitted ED to UVA, and to get an acceptance from UVA two days after submitting is an insanely quick turnover.
