My gpa is a 3.75 ish UW, but I took almost every AP in my school save studio art and art history.

3.75 because of low fresh/soph grades...

Does the overall gpa count more than the seperate grades themselves, that I got it with?

depends. if your grade is a concave up curve, then its good. usually, colleges prefer students that demonstrated improvement over the years rather than straight A students.

like, 85, 88, 93, 96, 96, 96, 99

Freshman year was c average,
Sophomore year first semester was b-,c+ average
Soph. 2nd semester all A’s
Junior all A’s
Senior all A’s.

Yup, your cumulative GPA outweighs individual grades. However, your individual grades are still looked at and considered. And within those grades, your Junior grades are the most important.

Yay I straight A’ed!
Well that’s good to hear, thanks!
