Grades vs Ecs

What are you chances of getting into an Ivy with very high grades and test scores but normal ECs, as opposed to unique/very good ECs but decent grades.

well I assume ofcourse if you are an excellent basketball player, probably the best in your city, then you can go to any college with decent grades, like B's.

^ best in your city? Any college? That is clearly incorrect. There are many all-state playes that get rejected, let alone even if they had straight A's. And there is no such stat that can guarntee a place at "any college."

Curing AIDS would be a ticket for admission.

having no legs, having one, eye, composing an opus, concerto, and poemes and being a high schooler concert master in the LA Philharmonic would definitely get you into Pasadena City college

hahaahahaaha

lolllllllllllllllllll

I think high grades is something required for you to be considered. Great E.C. is something that gets you in.
