<p>I am an A/B Student but junior year I got a C in both chemistry and pre calculus (they both were a point away from a B ugh!) anyway should i explain it on the common app or not? And if yes, how? I mean honestly my teachers for both of those classes were terrible, i mean I got an A in AP Psychology for crying out loud. Anyway, i dont want to bring too much attention to it but I also dont want them to think I dont care. Please answer!</p>
<p>No, don’t explain it. If it truly was a teacher issue, have your GC mention it the their rec, but you don’t want to sound like you are whining, which it will sound like if you talk about it.</p>
