Grades

I'm curious, how are grades determined for the following courses, and how do you "get the A" ???

math 215, organic chemistry, great books, and french 235 if anybody knows

I have the info from the syllabi, but my question is actually what percentages do you need to get the A, and are any of the classes curved generously?

These classes tend to be curved so X% of the class get's an A, Y% a B, and so forth.

Whether you consider the curves generous or not is up to you - the grading is all relative.

In example, for Math 215 in Fall 2005 semester, 80% in the course was a B+.
The first midterm average was 67%, second midterm 64%, and final exam 73%. There were also homeworks, quizzes, and lab projects. The curves are set differently for each section.
