Does Stanford look at what class you got a B in?
For example, if I get a B in math will that hurt me more than a B in a language class?

I think most colleges do, but I don't know if a B in math will hurt more than B in a language class. Depends on if you have anything that "makes up for it" or stuff, I think (i.e. a good AIME score, SATIIC score, etc). And also if it was AP/Honors, etc. I think stanford has a hollistic admissions process, so they aren't going to keep you out if you have just one B, I think. Even if it is in a math class. The earlier on you get it, the better-- for example, it's better to get a B in a math class in sophomore year than in junior year, just because they like seeing upward trends and it's less recent.

if anybody else has some input, please tell me about it... this is just what I think.

I think most of the things said were true, except math being prioritized over language classes. They are going to be seen equally, since they are both core classes as far as Stanford is concerned. A B will be just in bad in either class.
