<p>How does Emory calculate GPA?
In high school, for every A your earn, you get 4 points (in a 4.0 scale). For every B you get, you get 3 points.</p>

<p>Is that how it is in college, or do they divided it up to A+, A- and A?</p>

<p>Just curious...
also, is it hard to maintain a 3.5 + for a person majoring in Biology...</p>

A- 3.7
B+ 3.3
B 3.0
C+ 2.7
etc.</p>

<p>maintaining a 3.5+ really depends on the person.</p>

<p>Probably more like a 92 or a 93.</p>

A- =90-92</p>
