Grades

What's the difference between MyUcla Gradebook final grade and Offical final grade?

official final grade is official, myucla gradebook final grade has yet to be officially approved and input

Nearly in all cases, the two grades will be the same. The MyUCLA gradebook grade is one which the professor submits to the registrar. It is usually finalized, unless the professor (or the student) realizes a discrepancy in the grade shortly after the posting. If there is no change, the same grade will be posted for the official final grade.

It is not really final yet, the instructor may still change the grade if you have the supporting argument.

if it is not final yet, is it possible my grade can lower? cuz i made cut off by one point

WTH!! people are already getting their grades. ahhhhh!!!!!!

I am waiting to see if I return for another quarter or am simply done with UCLA forever.

When do grades have to be turned in (by profs)?

grrr, the only final grade i have is for marching band!!! aaargh!!!

i got both my grades, wow that was fast. I am now a graduate. yay.

Congrats Sandkicks!

thanks madeinchina.

fall grades... what a nice and timely christmas gift :)

i dont really understand how myucla final grade is posted but my final exam grade is not.

does anyone get this ?

thanxx

Some post exam grades and some don't. One or the other has happened to me throughout my education at UCLA. All it probably takes is a nice email to your professor to find out.

Yes, you may email your professor to find out, or you can pick up the graded final paper/final exam from him/her after break.

The reason professors do not do this is to conserve time because he/she would have to input a new set of final exam scores along with the final course grade. Some professors also are very lazy and skip grading the exam and just give a rough grade on the exam based on quick scans of what you have written down (to see if you have the correct idea on the problem).

this class is for lavelle chem 14a

so definitely what i see in the myucla final grade is what my grade in the class is?

im just worried it might change when they input my final exam grade (which I dont think i did very well on lol ). I dont want the myucla grade to go down

He put the final exam grade in today...

what a wonderful quarter it was.

just wondering, how was the chem 14a curve this quarter?

my raw/curved score are similar, so i cant really tell.

they always put grades on myucla first before ursa?

i don't have any of my grades yet.
