Grading on a B+ scale?

<p>I remember hearing this from somewhere. What does that mean and is it true? Does that mean that grades tend to be inflated? </p>

<p>Anyone know what the average GPA is for enrolled students?</p>

<p>Someone posted this info earlier. I think it was lower gpa for engineering (3.0?) and higher (3.5-3.7) for Elliott and Arts/Sciences.</p>

<p>I’ve never heard all of these rumors about grade inflation. It is definitely true that engineers have a much lower average GPA, but I really have never experienced across-the-board grade inflation here. It really depends on the professor.</p>
