<p>i’ll presume it’s a breadth since you shouldn’t take major prereqs for anything other than a letter grade. </p>
<p>if you get a np, you dont earn credit for the course and you need to find a way to fulfill that breadth. whether you choose to retake the same class (letter grade or p/np, the choice is still yours) is up to you. </p>
<p>i would just find an easier way to fulfill that breadth if i were you. getting a np probably means the class topics werent in your ball park and its probably best if you just move away from that subject</p>
