Just how much can the grading scale fluctuate from year to year? Can it vary a lot (like +/- 5-10 points)? Or does it stay relatively consistent and within a normal range (ex) +/- 1-5 points at best)?

I'm especially interested in AP Stats... Normally I know 68 to be a 5. Does anybody have a history of the cutoff points? I'd appreciate it.

…bump. please ppl.

I think it really depends on the test. The cutoffs for BC Calc, for instance, don’t fluctuate much (+/- 3 pts at most, as far as I can tell, with a mean of ~63), but the “5” cutoffs for AB Calc have been as high as 75 or as low as 66, depending on the difficulty of the exam. AP Stats…I’m not sure, sorry.

I’m glad to hear that BC cutoffs don’t change loads
