<p>I'm just curious: what is the grading scale in your county/school?
I live in NOVA, and the grading scale for my county was just changed!
So starting next year, it will be:</p>

<p>A – 90-100
B+ – 87-89
B – 80-86
C+ – 77-79
C – 70-76
D+ – 67-69
D – 60-66
F – 0-59</p>

<p>instead of:</p>

<p>A = 93-100<br>
B+ = 90-92
B = 84-89
C+ = 81-83
C = 74-80
D+ = 71-73
D = 65-70
F = 64 and below </p>

<p>which I am EXTREMELY happy about! Because I always get 92's. And that's not fun. -_-</p>

<p>This coupled with rather generous grade inflation at my school leads to a ** lot ** of people with straight a’s.</p>

<p>At my school, but the AP teachers at my school compensate by curving our grades through extra credit or adding 4 points.</p>

A: 100-90
B: 89-80
C: 79-70
D: 69-65
F: 64-0</p>

<p>The lowest marking period (half semester) grade I’ve received is a 93, so the alternative scale wouldn’t hurt me anyways.</p>

<p>You cant have less than a 0 in a class so your negative infinity sign is phail Heavn =).</p>

<p>I had a teacher that threatened to take off 40 points for each time we talked during a final exam. If I had gotten in trouble enough times, I would have had negative infinity.</p>

<p>3.50 - 4.00 = A
2.50 - 3.49 = B
1.50 - 2.49 = C
0.50 - 1.49 = D
0.01 - 0.49 = F
0.00 = Z</p>

F = anything less than 50%</p>
