At my school the grades are as follows with a .33 weight added for each AP and honors class.

97-100 A+ 4.33
93-96 A 4.0
90-92 A- 3.67
87-89 B+ 3.33
83-86 B 3.0
etc, etc.

The at the end of the year all A+'s whether it's a 97, 98, 99 or 100 get converted to 100's. And all A's to 94, all A-'s to 90, etc.

I was wondering how other schools grade? I know that some schools do a number average like 98% average or something. But, that's obviously not possible at my school.

There’s a thread for this already.

[What grading scale does your school use?](<a href=“Nyan Cat [original] - YouTube”>Nyan Cat [original] - YouTube)

You should really look before you post.

That’s just on GPA, it doesn’t talk about a number average

Nothing is weighted, and we don’t have pluses or minuses on grades. They don’t report the actual percentages on your transcript, just the letter grade.

A = 4.0 = 94-100
B = 3.0 = 85-93
C = 2.0 = 74-84
D = 1.0 = 65-73
F = 0 = 0-64

My county doesn’t do GPA, but it does do letter grades like this:

A: 90-100
B: 80-89
C: 70-79
F: <or=69
