Grading system/Scale at UT Austin

My D got accepted into UT Austin as well as ST.Louis university. If a student is pursuing medical school after an undergraduate degree- Is there any advantage of graduating from UT Austin vs SLU? Is there a difference in these 2 schools’ grading systems?

I would say there’s more of an advantage of graduating from UT because it is the more well known and prestigious school

I don’t know anything about St Louis University. UT uses the plus minus grading system. There are no A plus grades and there are no F minus grades.

You can make an A or A- which can be kind of irritating to high achievers as you can’t make an A+. I kind of wish an A was an A and then the plus/minus system worked on B and lower.

Each professor has their own criteria for what each grade is and that information is easily available in the syllabus.

Thank you. Appreciate your response
