If ur school uses A+, A, B+ system (A+=95-100, A=90-94) and so on, how can u calculate ur GPA

BUMPy wants to BUMP

4.3 = A+
4 = A
3.33 = B+
3 = B

Add them together and divide by the number of classes.

Say you have 7 classes, 3 A's, 4 B's, 3 are honors at a weight of .33.

4+4+4+3+3+3+3+.33+.33+.33 = 24.99 divided by 7 = 3.57 weighted gpa.

thnx
but if I dont take any honors or APs will it still be "weighted"

Actually the more traditional way is as such:

A=4 B=3 C=2 D=1 F=0
+/- is not differentiated.

If it is weighted (AP/honors) course, add one point to the above scale.

Example:
[1] A's (weighted)
[2] A's (regular)
[2] B's (weighted)
[1] B (regular)

[(1)(4+1)+(2)(4)+(2)(3+1)+(1)(3)]/6= 4.0 weighted (3.5 unweighted)

Of course, some high schools do it differently. When applying to college, often times they will recalculate your GPA based on their system.
