+/- Grading sytem

Does anyone know of any top 20 school that does not use the +/- grading scale and instead just uses a straight scale of A B C D F ?

Brown University, and they only have A, B, and C or P/F.

Brown University is the ****. I'm dreading the +/- system.

so...if you get a 50 in a Brown class, then do you automatically get an F? how does that even work??

"I'm dreading the +/- system."
Yea, me too. Those minuses are killing my gpa.

I'm sorry to hear that. Luckily, I've yet to deal with it, but I have a feeling that unless I'm fortunate enough to get into Brown, I'll be going to a school with that system.

Maybe I should make that a reason in my essay. :D

I realize this post has been inactive for about a month, but does this mean that Brown would evaluate applications without the +/-? This is kind of a stupid question I realize, but it's a curious matter considering the difference between a 3.7 and a 4.0 is substantial.
