Graduate Degree Search Electrical Engineering Power

Hi,

I'm currently searching for a graduate school to attend to get my electrical engineering degree with a concentration in power. I work and live in New Jersey...

I am considering the following three colleges: NJIT, Colombia or Manhattan College. NJIT is where I got my undergraduate degree and is very close and conveint for me to attend right after work. Does anyone have any advice or past experience with gaining a masters in power engineering? I can't decide on where to attend.

Thank you

To me, NJIT and Manhattan College are about the same. Perhaps NJIT may even be a little better.

I would go with NJIT since it is the most convenient for you. In Engineering, it does not really matter where you receive your degrees. Your work experience and performance are much more important than your degrees. You could spend the time you are going to save from commuting on more important things like giving additional contributions in your regular job, doing more side projects, start your own business, etc. Plus, NJIT is going to be a lot cheaper than Columbia, especially with the fact that you are NJ resident.
