Graduate Housing?

I am a current undergraduate student who has applied to a graduate program (second degree nursing program, so even though it's technically a BSN, we're kind of considered grad students). I will be graduating from my current undergraduate program in May, and if I get in and decide to go to Penn, I will have to move up to Philly in June. That doesn't give me a lot of time to shop around for a place to live... hence why I am looking around now. Living in Florida makes it hard to go up for a day to check out potential apartments as well. Anyways, I'm basically wondering what kinds of apartments I should look into, and what kinds of costs I would be looking at. I think my budget would be like $600-$850, but I'm honestly not sure without receiving a financial aid package, and I'm not sure what kind of price range I'm looking at either so I don't know if I need to go higher with my price range or what.

I am also interested in Sansom Place... I had done some searching and read some previously not-so-good reviews on here, but they were fairly old and I have heard that it has been recently renovated. I feel like the proximity may be worth the price, but honestly, the cost of a 2 BR isn't that terrible to me since it would cover internet, cable, and utilities. Any thoughts on Sansom Place? Is it a completely terrible idea for me to live here? I should also add that as a nursing student, I'm not too interested in living in a house in West Philly with 3-5 other girls, so the idea of living somewhere quiet with only one other roommate does appeal to me.

I have already looked at The Hub, and while it is nice, I feel like that's a bit pricy for a 2 br/1 ba that doesn't include utilities. Any other ideas? Any buildings in particular that I should look at? Thanks in advance!

Anyone? Any opinions on Sansom East or Sansom West? Any pictures anywhere?
