Graduate housing

I would like to have some advice on graduate housing from existing Stanford students, i.e. which housing is the most popular, which one to avoid, what to look out for, etc.
Is there anyone who can help me out here or knows where I can find more information?

Rains, EV, Lyman, Munger
EV is for single student and students with family.
Munger is probably the nicest, but also most expensive. $1400 a month or something like that.

Munger is BY FAR the best graduate student housing. It’s the newest (1-2 years old!) and is AS CLOSE as you can get, great location – not out in the boonies like the other options. Just as Asian75 said, it will also be the most expensive option.
I had a friend (a coterm) who lived in Rains and I thought it was cute! Small and homey. If you can deal with that, it could be a good option. Not too distant! EV is notoriously the worst, but it is the only appropriate option for couples with children. It is very very far and also kinda…shabby & old? Lyman and Schwab seem sort of nondescript.

Check out all of them WITH PICS here: [Stanford University - Student Housing - Tour Graduate Housing](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/shs/grad/tour_grad_house.htm)

Good luck!
