Dear all,
If you were admitted to Industrial Design at Parsons, Pratt and RISD; which one would you choose to go for?
(Not thinking about the tuition differences).

I would rule out RISD. My friend, who I attend SCAD with, was admitted to the Industrial Design programs at both SCAD and RISD. She comes from Providence, RI, and asked one of her father’s friends (who works at RISD) which school she should attend, and he discouraged her from attending RISD. One of the issues that RISD faces is that they are very caught up in rankings and reputation; as a result, the school is somewhat stuck in the past and refuses toe solve with technological innovations.
At Pratt or Parsons, you’re not only more centrally located to make greater industry connections, but both schools are more than willing to evolve as technology does as well.
