dudes,

so far i could not find any posts on Graduate Studies in Law but if I missed anything, please direct me to the right thread/post. Thanks.

anyways, im a Law student far away from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
basically i am graduating april 2008
thing is, im fascinated about the idea of doing Masters in International Trade Law in the US particularly U of Chicago or U of Duke (although so far my eyes are kind of set on Australia)
however, since my cgpa is 3.4, im just lucky for not to have to sit for LSAT since graduates are not required to take tests such as that IMHO

therefore, to you guys i have some q's

i) what do u think of the chances of getting into U of Chicago with 3.4?

ii) i hate to ask this, but between Chicago, Duke and Cornell, which is the best place for International Law Graduate Studies. I asked around but i think some of them just gave blatant bias replies. :)

iii) I know IELTS are already accepted by most, if not all, of the US universities but there are nowhere in the brochure or Application Form stating so. I had requested an explanation from some of the uni's i am interested with but to no avail. What do u guys think?

On a personal note, I never mentioned Harvard, Yale or Stanford. With 3.4, i think that's just pushing my luck although i know Chicago and Duke are also very competitive for Graduate Studies in Law.

Hoping for some good replies, eh?
thank you
